We are announcing the first release of the new series of books detailing specific aircraft flown by the Luftwaffe during WWII. Following the same format as the familiar and popular Wings of the Black Cross, each Special will provide supporting text and background, expanded photo coverage plus additional color profiles.
The initial release will focus on the Messerschmitt Bf 110 as it saw service throughout the war in many different roles. This 52 page book, includes a brief history of the aircraft and its various operational roles, both day and night, and concludes with a concise history of the aircraft’s camouflage and markings. Of the 77 photos, most are unpublished from the private collection of Mark Proulx plus a few from selected contributors, and are presented in large format. Extensive captioning provides specific details found in each image.
Highly regarded and recognized aviation illustrator Fernando Estanislau, brings his unique talents to Eagle Editions Ltd. for the first time, complimenting the book with ten detailed color profiles. His superb knowledge and attention to detail of the subject makes for some of the most accurate Bf 110 profiles ever created. Included are a number of color scrap views focusing on some of the nose art as applied to the Messerschmitt Bf 110.
Wings of the Black Cross Special Number One researched and written by Mark Proulx, provides a concentrated study of the Messerschmitt Bf 110, through photos, text and illustrations.
The comprehensive text of this book, illustrated with 710 contemporary photographs (some of them in colour) and colour profiles, tells the story of the 312th Bombardment Group (386th, 387th, 388th, 389th Bomb Squadrons, 5th Air Force), on its path through the Soutwest-Pacific in WW2 against the Japanese.
The 312th flew the Douglas A-20 Havoc (2 engines), a fast, heavily armed bomber on low level strafing and bombing missions. At wars end, the 386th BS of the 312th BG also flew B-32 Dominators (4 engines) as the only group to fly this type ever in combat.

Presented will be short biographies and combat stories about their fighter experiences in the Luftwaffe of the pilots, based on personal interviews conducted by Jerry and Judy over the past 45 years. Many more pilots are included above and beyond those who signed the signatorie page.
Numerous photos from their private collections, many never before published, documents and full color profiles complete the book.
This title will compliment the two Dora volumes written by Jerry Crandall. It will be in A4 format and in full color.

The third title of our Luftwaffe over Czech territory 1945 is dealing with an attempt of Luftwaffe to significantly increase number of jet fighters by retraining bomber pilots for fighter tasks. The IX.Fliegerkorps(J) was based under Dietrich Peltz command and several KG units were transformed into KG(J), but only KG(J) 54 reached regular operational status and was sent into action. It was transferred to Prague in April 1945 and together with JG 7 and fragments of KG(J) 6 saw final battles over Bohemia, Germany and at Prague.
Despite of KG(J) 54 and KG(J) 6 the KG 51 was regular bomber unit which flew operationally from the late of 1944. At the end of April 1945 several aircraft moved to Prague, joined other Me 262 units there and took part in final actions.
Special chapter is dedicated to production of Me 262Bs.
The title includes camouflage studies of 11 Me 262s of KG(J) 6, KG(J) 54 and KG 51 which saw action over Czech area in 1945 including two Me 262Bs. The text is accompanied by nearly 300 b/w and color photos, tens of original documents and tables.
