Presented will be short biographies and combat stories about their fighter experiences in the Luftwaffe of the pilots, based on personal interviews conducted by Jerry and Judy over the past 45 years. Many more pilots are included above and beyond those who signed the signatorie page.
Numerous photos from their private collections, many never before published, documents and full color profiles complete the book.
This title will compliment the two Dora volumes written by Jerry Crandall. It will be in A4 format and in full color.
Over 480 photos and 72 full color aircraft profiles along with numerous charts, graphs and scrap illustrations.
Over 70 photos extracted from the author, Mark Proulx’s private collection. Most are presented here in print for the first time.To fill in any minor gaps, a few photos from select contributors are also included. Expanded text investigates its operational roles, each photos are presented with detailed captions, for a total of 76 photos.
Artist Steve Diesley has illustrated this title. Using his unique computer talents, he has created ten color profiles with scrap views where appropriate.
Volume 2 contents a large section on colour and markings, an overview of technical features of the Dora aircraft, photoes and stories of Doras that served in JV 44 including newly discovered photoes, featuring Red 13 W.Nr. 213240. New photographs of D-11s with colour profiles. Highlights of the Fw 190 D-13 Yellow 10 with new photoes and recoveries of aircraft featuring construction, colour and markings, pilots and units are included as well as a complete set of 1/48th scale three view drawings newly updated by Koichiro Abe and an up to date Werknummern listing including Loss Records.
Volume 2 (previously anounced under the title Focke-Wulf Fw 190 Dora – D-9, D-11, D-13, Vol. 2) contents:

The comprehensive text of this book, illustrated with 710 contemporary photographs (some of them in colour) and colour profiles, tells the story of the 312th Bombardment Group (386th, 387th, 388th, 389th Bomb Squadrons, 5th Air Force), on its path through the Soutwest-Pacific in WW2 against the Japanese.
The 312th flew the Douglas A-20 Havoc (2 engines), a fast, heavily armed bomber on low level strafing and bombing missions. At wars end, the 386th BS of the 312th BG also flew B-32 Dominators (4 engines) as the only group to fly this type ever in combat.

This book is a meticulously researched review of the many German, Italian and Japanese aircraft taken to Allied countries or flown by the Allies during or after the Second World War. The hsitory of these captured aircraft has been extensively researched and the book is copiously illustrated by an unrivalled selection of around 500 photographs, gleaned from around the world.
The book’s chapters are devoted to chronological themes describing the individual histories of each aircraft and the units which flew them in the USA or France or in specific theatres of war, with a final chapter covering the use made of aircraft in other countries. Coverage includes civilian aircraft and sailplanes as well as military types, post-war production of German designs and details of surviving aircraft in museums.
Appendices and indexes cover designation and marking systems, information sources and other useful background.
The MiG-21 was the air superiority fighter of the East and virtually all Warsaw Treaty states used this enormously versatile fighter aircraft. In countless versions, the agile machine stood up to its Western counterparts for decades and was a feared opponent. More than 10,000 copies of all variants were produced. This makes the MiG-21 one of the most built fighter aircraft after the 2nd World War to this day. The NVA (National Poeple’s Army) also had around 500 machines in use.The MiG-21 was exported to 43 states, several countries also produced the type under license.
