Nuts & Bolts, Vol. 28: Gleisketten-LKWs MAULTIER (Sdkfz 3)
29,90 €Although almost 22,000 vehicles were built during the latter half of WWII, it seems as this vehicle class was neglected for the last fifty years in all publications. As leading model companies have now detected a market for soft-skinned vehicles it is time for Nuts & Bolts to release an in-depth publication on these vehicles. As ever we will publish a sound mixture of wartime shots to bring our readers an impression of their deployment during the war, detail photos of existing vehicles in museums and private collections and how to model the four versions by Tony Greenland. Also, Blue prints from John Rue and camouflage artwork from Laurent Lecocq complete the publication. With 341 photos (222 historic, 24 model, 86 modern), 78 blueprints and 16 camouflage schemes, table of organisation.

Nuts & Bolts, Vol. 29: Raupenschlepper Ost RSO und Abarten
29,90 €With the revised section of Volume 9, published in 2010, we brought up to date the 7 ,5 cm Pak 40/4 auf gep. Selbstfahrlafette Raupenschlepper Ost RSO. This included new drawings, additional historical photos and text, and assisted those modelers who purchased the new Dragon kit 6640. However under 100 vehicles were produced, whilst its sisters the RSO/01 and /03 saw over 27,000 units manufactured. With a vast amount of information and Lutz Konetznys outstanding historical photos the team decided this was an essential addition to the series. With an outstanding historical section, supported by museum vehicles, scale drawing and accurate camouflage renditions we are confident that this will be one of our most popular issues. This issue should also be especially welcome for the AFV modeler, as Dragon have now released their RSO/01 & 03 kits.

Nuts & Bolts, Vol. 31: Marder II (SdKfZ 131)
29,90 €The Panzer-Jägers theme was always one of the major interest groups of the publishers. The Marder III series were a very important and interesting series which generated Volumes Vol. 15, 17, 18. We accepted at this time that it was also historically important to include the Marder II as it was one of the early and proficient tank hunters. However, we also appreciated that our readers were interested in other important German WWII ground equipment. We had decided that a further volume would follow in the Panzer-Jäger family on the important Marder II, but at a later date. To keep the series diversified we produced titles with different themes like Panzer-Artillerie and half-tracked transport etc. In the meantime we had received additional information/photos etc on earlier Panzer-Jäger vehicles and therefore we revised Vol. 9 on the armoured RSO and Vol. 23 on the Panzerjäger I, together with a new Vol. 24 on the Marder II based upon the Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. D & E.
Now we are proud to present the new volume Vol. 31 concerning the Marder II (Sd.Kfz. 131) on the chassis of the Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. A-C & F:
-approx. 365 photos, of those 190 b/w photos, mostly unpublished showing the Marder II during the war,
155 coloured photos of four still existing vehicles in museums and
20 photos of Master models from Tony Greenland and Vinnie Branigan
40 pages text in German/English with six tables and two Kriegstärkenachweisungen, all photo captions in both languages
10 pages of 32 scale drawings in 2D and 3D in 1:35 scale of all known variants and details by John Rue
7 pages with 14 coloured camouflage schemes from original wartime photos of the Marder II and the different ammunition used with the 5 cm Pak 38 and 7,5 cm Pak 40 by Carlos de Diego Vaquerizo -

Nuts & Bolts, Vol. 33: Leichte Feldhaubitze 18, GW II für le.F.H. WESPE and HUMMEL-WESPE
29,90 €It was more than 18 years since Nuts & Bolts Vol. 02 on the Wespe was published. It contained a short summary of the vehicle and brief descriptions to accompany the surviving vehicle photographs in museums and collections. Since then Nuts & Bolts has constantly evolved and improved. Historic photos, tables of organization and equipment, informations about the delivery of the vehicles to the units and the vehicles use in active service have been added. Every issue has these features together with 2D & 3D scale drawings, camouflage plates and a model section to complete what we believe is the most comprehensive study of each represented vehicle. Historically the Wespe is an important addition to the German Army equipment and therefore we think it is appropriate to offer to our readers a totally new issue with all these additional features on the Wespe. Additionally, the 10.5 cm leichte Feldhaubitze 18M, which armed the Wespe and the Hummel-Wespe have also been included in considerable detail.
353 photos (198 historic, 40 model, 115 modern), 40 drawings, 13 camouflage schemes, tactical markings, table of organsisation (KStN). -
Nuts & Bolts, Vol. 34: Sd.Kfz.7 – 8 ton Zugkraftwagen Krauss-Maffe
29,90 €One of the most interesting military vehicle developments of the German Reichswehr and Wehrmacht was without doubt the halftrack tractors. Basing on experiences from the First World War the development started at the end of the 1920s. From the six types of un-armoured halftrack vehicles (1 tonne 3 tonne 5 tonne 8 tonne 12 tonne/ 18 tonne) developed from the early years and beginning in 1930, the main vehicle was the 8 ton halftrack Sd.Kfz. 7. This vehicle, which served in many differing deployments, and which had the highest production numbers, was produced from 1935 1945. Dr. Nicolaus Hettler, who has already described the halftrack vehicles 18 tonne Sd.Kfz.9 (N&B 12) 12 tonne Sd.Kfz.8 (N&B 16) und 3 tonne Sd.Kfz.11 (N&B 20), continues these series with the halftrack 8 tonne Sd.Kfz.7 (N&B 34).
334 photos (169 historic, 32 model, 133 modern), 80 blueprints, 20 camouflage schemes, tactical markings, table of organsisation (KStN). -

Nuts & Bolts, Vol. 37: Panzerjäger IV, Part 1: – L/48 (Sd.Kfz.162)
29,90 €Issue 37 shows the early versions of the Jadgpanzer IV, also called Guderian duck. This tank first designed 1942 on an order of the Heereswaffenamt to VOMAG and first introduced in 1944 was basically a new successor to the Sturmgeschütz. There was a considerable effort by the General der Artillerie for the retention of the designation Sturmgeschütz. Guderian battled and won his case for the issuing of the tanks to the Panzerjäger units of the Panzer-Divisions. Despite the inexperienced Panzerjäger units the Jagdpanzer IV became a very worthy adversary against the Allies Armoured opposition.
This volume includes the early versions of Panzerjäger IV chassis No. V2 to the leichte Panzerjäger IV with the 7.5 cm Pak 39 L/48. As we formulated the production of this volume it became apparent that the historical information we obtained could only be done justice if we produced two volumes on one of the most important German tank of the Second World War. Together with Volume 38, which is devoted to the VOMAG and ALKETT versions with the 7.5 cm Pak 42 L/70 and the Einheitsfahrgestell, all versions of this formidable vehicle will be included to the standard of information that our readers have become used to.
368 photos (152 historic, 23 model, 193 modern), 36 blueprints, 16 camouflage schemes, tactical markings, table of organisation (KStN). -
Nuts & Bolts, Vol. 38: Jagdpanzer IV, Part 2 – L/70 (Sd.Kfz.162/1) (Vomag & Alkett)
29,90 €As previously announced we continue with part 2 on the history of the Jagdpanzer IV. This describes the two versions developed by the companies VOMAG and ALKETT, both types were armed with the 7.5 cm Pak 42 L/70, an anti-tank gun that derived from the famous gun of the Panther. If you take into account that the series production of both versions did not commence until August 1944, it is really surprising that by the end of the war (only 8 months later,) 970 VOMAG and 277 ALKETT vehicles with this armament were built. However, both versions had no major impact on the course of the war.
With 393 photos (160 historic, 19 model, 214 modern), 42 blueprints, 17 camouflage schemes, tactical markings, table of organsisation (KStN). -
