The book deals with the Führerhauptquartier S III – Olga & Burg at Thuringia near Arnstadt – Wechmar – Ohrdruf (called AWO).
The authors have focused on a complex of underground facilities, bunkers and factories in the Eastern area of Germany. Eyewitness testimonies, which previously existed only as news from the past, received a new appreciation and were examined for each sentence and its significance. As in a criminal investigation, statements, clues and georadar investigations on site come together and give a completely new view of a very old secret.
